Rush Line

Parks and trails should not be used as transit corridors.  Submit your comments at Rushline.org before the February 13 deadline.  Please add your voice to ours as we seek to protect Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary and Swede Hollow Park.

Here is a project summary from their website:

The Rush Line Corridor is a transportation corridor extending 80 miles from Hinckley to Union Depot in downtown St. Paul. A Pre-Project Development Study is underway to analyze bus and rail transit alternatives between Forest Lake and Union Depot in St. Paul. The study builds upon previous work completed for the corridor and will identify one mode and one alignment for adoption as the corridor’s Locally Preferred Alternative. The PPD Study is a joint local and regional planning effort conducted by the Rush Line Corridor Task Force and led by the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority.
