Bountiful opportunities to clean up our beautiful parks and neighborhoods

April is Earth Month and in keeping with tradition, volunteers are needed at several cleanups in Saint Paul and Ramsey County.

Saturday, April 19 – Indian Mounds Cemetery (Park)

  • 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
  • Meet at either Indian Mounds Lookout on Cherry St (44.9500121, -93.0683579) or Indian Mounds Park Pavilion at Earl St and Mounds Blvd (44.9460233, -93.0557559)
  • Supplies provided
  • Refreshments will be provided
  • Sponsored by Waḳaƞ Ṭípi Awaƞyaƞkapi and Prairie Island Indian Community

Friday, April 25 – Arden Hills Army Training Site

  • 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. but arrive and leave as your schedule allows
  • Location: Enter the AHATS campus on the Hamline Ave. extension just north of MN Hwy 96. Turn left (west) onto Ben Franklin Rd., and follow it approximately ¼ mile to the gate. Enter the Ben Franklin gate, and park as directed. Location is near 1567 Ben Franklin Rd. 45.08330° N, 93.16482° W
  • Gloves, vests, trash bags, rakes, and other tools and other supplies provided
  • No registration necessary
