Your Help Need to Battle Buckthorn

Hey Friends! Join forces with volunteers from Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District and White Bear Lake Natural Resources Commission to remove European Buckthorn. This project will improve wildlife habitat and water quality at Hanlo’s Pond in Lakewood Hills Park in White Bear Lake on Thursday, October 24 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Wear work gloves and bring branch loppers if you have them. Meet in the White Bear Area YMCA parking lot, 2100 Orchard Lane, White Bear Lake, just north of 694 on White Bear Avenue.

Feel the satisfaction of making a difference in restoring biodiversity to our community parks! Instruction, tools and snacks provided.
